Uani Unga, who goes by Devin, married and with a baby on the way, told the BYU site on Scout.com that he left OSU in order to be closer to his wife's family for when the baby arrives.
Unga, who is Mormon, is in Utah and was accepted as a walk-on to BYU this week. He has applied for entrance at BYU and is waiting for Oregon State to transfer his transcripts over, according to totalbluesports.com, with an eye on beginning classes at BYU in time to participate in spring drills.
His twin brother, Feti Unga, who goes by Kevin, is remaining at Oregon State.
Devin played in 11 games this past season, logging 13 tackles. Kevin also played in 11 games, posting 26 tackles, (13 solo).
