News from Mike Riley roundtable


CORVALLIS -- Mike Riley held a media roundtable today and Grady Garrett was there to cover it for BF.C. Among the items of note, the injury status of several Beavs including Joe Halahuni, James Rodgers and more,

-- James Rodgers has doctor's appt tomorrow in the Bay Area, which will be critical to seeing where he is at in terms of timetable.

-- On Joe Halahuni, Mike Riley said he doesn't think he will be back until after the bye week, so after the Wisconsin game.

-- Jordan Bishop is cleared and Ryan Katz is cleared.

-- Cameron Collins will be limited in fall camp but is expected to be ready to go by first game.

-- Jordan Jenkins has a doctor's appt. Thursday and Riley expects him to be cleared then.

-- On the official pre-fall camp two deeps – Feti Unga is the starting MLB, Tony Wilson is the backup. Rueben Robinson is at the SAM linebacker behind Collins.

-- Starting d-line from left to right: DE Taylor Henry, LT Castro Masaniai, RT Kevin Frahm, DE Scott Crichton.

-- At RB, McCants is the starter for now, Riley reiterated it will be an open competition.
