MIKE RILEY said he didn’t dwell with the team Sunday on the negatives. They went over the nuts and bolts and what they didn’t do against Cal, what they could do better and how they’re going to go about that the final two weeks of the regular season.
Mike Riley
said
Rueben Robinson
suffered a concussion, questionable at this point for Saturday.
Mike Remmers
will have an MRI on his knee but Riley thinks it will come up clean. He played the rest of the game after injuring it in the first quarter. There was no appreciable swelling.
Geoff Garner
will have an MRI on his shoulder, had more and more trouble with it as the game went along. His potential replacement
Grant Johnson
is scheduled to practice on Tuesday.
Feti Unga
played a little on Saturday, and would hopefully, Riley said, get better this week and play more on Saturday.
Riley said the main difference in the game was OSU’s inability to stop the Cal rushing game. “That was a very good game physically for them,” said Riley.
Riley said he didn’t agree that the players were nay more down or frustrated than they are after any other loss. “Everything for us will be told on us by how well we practice.”
Riley said the last game at home this season, and for the seniors’ last game in Corvallis should be a motivating factor.
Riley said of this week’s opponents the Huskies, that their running back ,
Chris Polk
and QB
Keith Price
, present big challenges.
