San Jose (Calif.) Bellarmine Prep athlete Kenneth Olugbode is still searching for his first offer, but he’s been doing what he can, getting to a number of camps and 7on7 tournaments, with more on the schedule.
This past weekend, Olugbod was at the Oregon NFTC and has a few more in the months ahead.
“I think I did well but I always could have done better,” said Olugbode. “I’m now leaving for the Nevada camp and I have UCLA’s invite only camp this month.”
Olugbode is confident that an offer is right around the corner.
“I think that maybe Nevada or San Jose State is my closest offer,” said Olugbode. “I really think one will come soon and it should get the pressure off. That first offer really takes off the pressure.”
Olugbode worked with the receivers at the NFTC but said most of his attention is coming as a tight end or H-Back and as an outside linebacker.
“It doesn’t matter where I play, I just want to do whatever I can to get on the field,” said Olugbode.
Olugbode weighed in at 6-0, 201, and said he’d like to add a couple more pounds by fall.
This summer, Olugbode, who has a 3.5, plans to visit Utah and Northwestern unofficially.
