Beavs fourth in Pac-12 APR for football

OREGON STATE's Academic Progress Rate in football was fourth in the Pac-12 with a 955 score in figures released by the NCAA. All Oregon State sports were above the APR benchmark.

Oregon State scored a 955 in football for its multi-year average, fourth-best in the Pac-12 behind Stanford, Utah and UCLA. The Ducks were seventh.

OSU men's basketball score a 948 for its multi-year average. The scores for the 2010-11 academic year, the most recent year included in the rolling average, had the Beavers with a 945 for football and a 931 for men's basketball.

OSU's highest score was a 994 by its softball team, with women's golf (992) and women's gymnastics (991) also logging near perfect scores (1,000).

Oregon State scored a 690 in men's soccer, 952 in baseball and a 934 for women's basketball, with the latter reflecting multiple departures from the team prior to former head coach Lavonda Wagner's own departure.
