MIKE RILEY GAVE a preview of the 2012 fall camp and season at Oregon State on Tuesday. Here are the highlights and more...

-- Stan Hasiak will not be available for fall camp due to the fact that he is still achieving the necessary grades to participate.

- Isaac Seumalo is expected to start at center as a freshman.

The starting front five headed into fall camp: Tackles LT Michael Philipp, LG Josh Andrews, C Seumalo, RG Grant Enger, RT Colin Kelly.

-- Riley was stoked about his defensive line's prospects - talking up starters Castro Masaniai, Andrew Seumalo, Dylan Wynn and Scott Crichton – as well as Rusty Fernando and Joe Lopez. he commended the d-line's physical growth as a unit.

-- Malcolm Marable is no longer suspended from play according to Riley - he completed everything he needs to in order to be ready to go for fall camp.

-- Ongoing suspensions - Josh William, Sean Martin, Akeem Gonzales, Noa Aluesi, Lavonte Barnett will be suspended for at least the first game against Nicholls State.

-- Jordan Poyer won't be suspended for the first game.

-- Riley considers Chris Brown to be a great addition and has high hopes for the run game, even if it is done by committee, (Riley reiterated he is hoping for 1700-1800 yards).

-- Riley said the Beavs will have 105 guys opening fall camp, two of which are rehabbing injuries -- S Kendall Hill and OL Chase Eldredge.

Riley on the WR’s – Praised Markus Wheaton, saying that he has come very far as an athlete and team leader. He also gave us a bit of insight on Obum Gwacham - “Gwacham is physically impressive and a great worker/learner type of player. He is a sponge.

"Overall, the wide receivers should be the least of our worries this season.”

-- What will be the most of his worries? Riley says it's the offensive line.

“We do not have enough veteran depth on the o-line,” he said.

Fall camp starts Aug. 6 and the always upbeat Riley again stressed that the 2012 vintage is going to be a much stronger unit than the 2011 Beavs.

“It’s been a good summer of organization – I’m really excited. I’ve got a good vibe about the team. There as been a lot of physical improvement in individuals,” said Riley.
