Oregon State added a late addition to their 2012 class. Olaf Schaftenaar jumped on board and is eligible right away.

Oregon State added a member of the Dutch National Team to their 2012 recruiting class Tuesday morning.

Olaf Schaftenaar, a 6-foot-9 skilled forward, is headed to Oregon State and is eligible to play right away, a source told Scout.com.

In the U18 European Championship, Schaftenaar averaged 7.3 points and 4.6 rebounds through seven games in the event.

Schaftenaar's brother -- Roeland -- played at Oregon State and helped the Beavers to the CBI Championship in 2009.

Schaftenaar joins Victor Robbins, Langston Morris-Walker, Jarmal Reid and Maika Ostling to make up Oregon State's 2012 recruiting class.
