IT WAS No. 19 UCLA who was supposed to have the high-powered offense, but instead Oregon State had nearly 400 passing yards in the Rose Bowl Saturday. It was UCLA who was supposed to have a stout rushing defense whose stats had been skewed by running QBs, but it was Oregon State who was punching people in the mouth down in the trenches. At the end of the day, Oregon State was 2-0 and Top 25 bound.
