BEAVS WIN!! MAGICAL CARPET RIDE CONTINUES!!
Oregon State moved to 5-0 for the first time since 1939 and racked up 450 yards of total offense to do it.
Cody Vaz (unofficially) was 20-for-32 for 332 yards with 3 TDs and no interceptions.
BYU couldn't stop wide receivers Markus Wheaton and Brandin Cooks. And on the few occasions Vaz wasn't showing off his touch and the ball wasn't perfect placed, Cooks and Wheaton grabbed 'em anyway.
Wheaton scored three TDs, two coming by the air and another on a 12-yard reverse in the fourth quarter. All Cooks did was catch eight passes for 173 yards.
Both tight ends played big roles late. Connor Hamlett had two big grabs when OSU needed them most, covering 58 yards. And Colby Prince snagged a deflected ball, despite BYU defenders hanging all over him (legal after a tip) and scored the touchdown that was perhaps the key tipping point.
CB Jordan Poyer returned an interception 49 yards to seal the victory.
We'll have more on BF.C a bit later on...
