POLLS: Beavs are ranked 13/15/14/14/12

HERE'S A QUESTION - If before the season you were given the choice that the Beavers, picked to finish last in the Pac-12 North, would instead finish the regular season ranked in the nation's top 15, would you have believed it?

Because it has become reality.

Oregon State capped the 2012 regular season ranked No. 13 in the final BCS rankings.

The Beavs were ranked No. 15 in the AP poll, and No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches poll.

The Harris poll tabbed Oregon State at No. 14.

The computer rankings have Oregon State at No. 12 in the land.

Not bad for a team that went 3-9 the year before.

Now an Alamo Bowl berth against Texas awaits the Beavers on Dec. 29.
