Game Notes: Oregon vs. Nebraska

The Oregon Ducks (8-1) takes on Nebraska (6-2) in a return match from last season in which the Duck overcame the Cornhuskers, 83-76 last November in Lincoln. Saturday's game is set for a 1:36 p.m. tip of and will be carried on Fox Sports Network.

According to a media release issued by the Oregon Athletic Department, Nebraska's last win over Oregon came five years ago Saturday (Dec. 15, 2007) in Omaha, Neb., 88-79.

The Ducks defeated Idaho State, 87-35, in their last contest. The 52-point victory over Idaho State was Oregon's largest since beating Winston-Salem State by 51 points in 2009. In addition, the 35 points allowed was the fewest since giving up just 23 points to Savannah State in a 2005 contest.

The 52-point margin ranks 10th all-time in Oregon history. The Ducks' 91-17 win over Bruno Studios on Dec. 28, 1946 is the current record. Freshman Damyean Dotson led the way with 12 points for UO, while Arsalan Kazemi, Tony Woods and Dominic Artis each scored 11 points to join Dotson in double figures. E.J. Singler nabbed nine rebounds to pace the Ducks. In addition, Singler and Artist both recorded five assists to lead Oregon and the Ducks' defense held the Bengals to just 27.9 percent (12-of-43) shooting from the field.
