More watchlists for Seumalo and Crichton

THE PRESEASON HONORS continue to pile up for Oregon State. Sophomore center Isaac Seumalo has been selected to the Outland Trophy Watch List and junior defensive end Scott Crichton to the Bronko Nagurski Award Watch List. The Outland is presented to the nation's top interior defensive or offensive lineman and the Nagurski to the top defensive player overall.

Isaac Seumalo, the son of Beaver defensive line coach Joe Seumalo, was earlier named to the Rimington Award watch list.

He earned Pac-12 Conference Honorable Mention last season and numerous Freshman All-America honors. The Corvallis High graduate was one of five true freshmen to play for the Beavers in 2012 and was the first freshman to start at center for OSU since 1978.

Scott Crichton, a native of Tacoma, Wash., was earlier named to the watch lists for the Bednarik Award and Lott Trophy. He was one of only two underclassmen last year to be named first team all-conference on defense.

Crichton is tied for seventh for career sacks at Oregon State with 15, tied for sixth for career tackles-for-loss with 32 and is tied for second with seven forced fumbles in his career.
