BEAVS WIN! BEAVS WIN! BEAVS WIN!

RYAN MURPHY'S INTERCEPTION SEALED IT

OREGON STATE PULLED off an unlikely, incredible comeback win on Saturday night, crushing the upset hopes of San Diego State in a 34-30 victory. Most Beav fans had probably resigned themselves to an OSU loss late in the fourth quarter. But then Oregon State pulled off some magic that Harry Houdini himself would have been envious of...

OSU was down 30-21 with 5:18 to go in the final frame when it began.

Sean Mannion directed the Beavs downfield and hit Terron Ward for a 10-yard score to pull Oregon State within 30-28. The Beaver D, which had been leaky all night, turned stingy.

And cornerback Steven Nelson intercepted Quinn Kaehler's pass and returned it 16 yards to give the Beavers the lead with 2:38 remaining in the game.

"That play will go down in the history of this season, I think," Mike Riley said.

The Aztecs had one final possession, but it also ended in an interception, this one by Ryan Murphy.

Just like that, OSU had handed the Aztecs an unlikely loss and upped their mark to 3-1 on the season.
