PRACTICE: Riley says FB Anderson is a go


CORVALLIS – A solid secondary performance, a defensive frenzy and a certain amount of specific drills characterized Wednesday's practice at Oregon State. The starting Beaver defense kept things interesting, and the No. 1 offense performed well in their red zone work. Also, you can scratch one guy off the dinged, battered and/or bruised list.

Practice Notes Offense Junior fullback Tyler Anderson was back to cracking a few pads on Wednesday, and Mike Riley said he will be ready to go for Saturday. Anderson had a good day and looked ready. Second-string fullback and redshirt freshman Ricky Ortiz saw a handful of looks. The running game for the Beavs looked sharp overall. Tight end Caleb Smith seemed a little antsy on one play...
