Rumor has it that this is a huge recruiting weekend for the Huskies as they
have big names such as Spurrier, Hawkins and Urban Meyer on their official
visits, so expect the players to compete at a high level. Here is what OSU needs
to do in order to win.
1. Establish a running game
Hell, why do I even bother putting writing this one down? The good news is
Oregon State can't get any worse in this category, the bad news is they are the
worst...the worst in the entire nation and that is bad, verrrrry bad.
2. Use the entire offense
Quarterback Derek Anderson needs to move his head and look at his third and
fourth options. If those guys are not open look for that fifth option.
The way that Derek currently goes through his progressions we might as well just
leave an extra guy back there to block. Bold prediction...wide
receiver Mike Haas has a big game...150 plus yards and three touchdowns...Reggie
who?
3. Contain Charles Fredrick
I still have nightmares about this guy. He torched the Beavs so bad last year
that my arse is still burning. If he makes one big play OSU must
not panic, but suck it up and keep on believing.
