Beaver target planning official trips

THE FIRST WEEK of college football has come and gone as the 2006 collegiate landscape has started to take shape. The start of football season also means official visits begin soon. One player who could be tripping to Corvallis this fall is Santa Monica's Cameron Collins, an all-CIF selection as a junior. Oregon State was the first to offer the safety prospect.

"I like them a lot, they were the first team to offer me a scholarship, definitely take that into consideration," said Collins of Oregon State. "They seem like a genuine team."
