Rain forced the team inside the practice facility for the first time this month.
WR Sammie Stroughter impressed as quarterbacks Lyle Moevao and Sean Canfield turned in sharp performances.
S James Dockery recorded an interception.
On the quarterbacks - "Sean is more comfortable with
the offense, as he should be. This is his third spring practice and this is
Lyle's first. But I thought Lyle made some really nice touch throws today. "There
are so many balls that the quarterback has to throw that aren't just your 96-mph
fastball, that you gotta put some feel on it, even though for you and for me
it's a big throw - it's 30 yards down the field, it's got a little bit of a
loop to it, so they can throw over a linebacker and get it down before the secondary
can get there. And Lyle's starting to get a feel for those throws in our offense.''
