Beavers let good times roll in rout of Bengals
How easy was this?
Oregon State's first play gained 41 yards, the first drive lasted five plays
before the Beavers were in the end zone and there was no slowing up until a
61-10 pasting of Idaho State was completed Saturday, much to the enjoyment of
the 38,491 in Reser Stadium ... more

Energetic Stroughter leads Beavers' romp over Idaho
State
Sammie Stroughter. Sammie Stroughter. Sammie Stroughter.
There were plenty of other strong performers in Oregon State’s 61-10
romp past Division I-AA Idaho State Saturday at Reser Stadium, but there was
no better news for Beaver Nation than the re-emergence of Stroughter as a primary
offensive weapon ... more

Beavers air out a win
Oregon State's 61-10 demolition of Idaho State on Saturday at Reser Stadium
was a therapeutic victory that sends the Beavers to Arizona State this week
with more confidence and more bounce in their step.
And guess who led the way? ... more

OSU's Stroughter has fun on, off the field
There already was boundless evidence of the return to form of Sammie Stroughter
on Saturday afternoon, but as Oregon State's easy game against Idaho State ticked
away, Reser Stadium's new Dam Cam video screen showed it to the world.
The stadium camera zoomed in on Stroughter on the sideline while the second-
and third-string players slugged it out on the field. He laughed, giggled and
shot the breeze with his teammates as if he didn't have a care in the world

Canfield leads Oregon State to 61-10 victory over Idaho
State
Oregon State found its passing game — and, apparently, its quarterback
of the future, too.

160 yards receiving and two touchdowns, and Oregon State cruised to a 61-10
win over Idaho State Saturday ... more

Bengals no match for Oregon State
It was the Sean Canfield and Sammie Stroughter show on Saturday.

(formerly Div. 1-AA) ... more

OSU crushes ISU
The Bengals' trouble Saturday wasn't that they couldn't throw, and it wasn't
that they couldn't stop Oregon State's heralded tailback.
It was that they couldn't keep Sean Canfield in check.
The Beavers' quarterback zipped passes through Idaho State's pass
defense at will, throwing for 353 yards and three touchdowns on 21-of-30 attempts
to lead Oregon State to a 61-10 win over the Bengals at Reser Stadium in Corvallis,
Ore., in front of 38,491 fans ... more

Oregon State Cruises to 61-10 Win Over
Idaho State
Oregon State University bolted out of the gate, scoring touchdowns on their
first three drives, and OSU methodically wore the Bengals down, and Idaho State
could never really close the gap as ISU dropped a 61-10 decision in Corvallis.
The 51-point loss ties for the eight-worst margin of defeat in ISU history,
and it's the largest margin of defeat since ISU dropped a 62-0 decision to Boise State in 2003.
Oregon State's much maligned quarterback Sean Canfield was stellar, especially
in the first quarter when he went 11-for-14 for 198 yards through the air, leading
three consecutive touchdown drives of 64, 80, and 63 yards. He threw a 48-yard
touchdown pass, sandwiched around two short scoring runs by Yvenson Bernard
and Andy Stewart for their 21-0 first quarter lead ... more
