Doggett had a career-high and third-highest single game total in the Pac-10
for tackles this season with 18, 11 solos. For the second consecutive year he
scored a touchdown vs. Oregon via an interceptions, returning a second quarter
Duck pass for 28 yards to give the Beavers a 21-7 lead. The senior linebacker
from San Diego leads the team for tackles with 85 and interceptions with four.
Sieverson, from nearby Bend, rushed for a career-high 142 yards and scored
the game’s first touchdown on a 38-yard trap play. The senior was filling
in for the injured Yvenson Bernard. He also corralled four Lyle Moevao passes
for 16 yards in helping the Beavers compile 459 yards in total offense.
Oregon State finished the 2007 season third in the Pac-10 Conference for the
second consecutive season and will begin preparations next week for its first-ever
appearance in the Emerald Bowl Dec. 28 at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The
Beavers will play Atlantic Coast Conference representative Maryland.
