Hawaiian big men eye Corvallis trip

BEAVS IN HIS FINAL THREE

HOSS ANTHONY SIILATA is down to three, he tells Scout.com's Chris Fetters. A scheduled visit to Oregon State for this weekend may or may not be pushed out to next, and there's more, too. Siilata's teammate, offensive lineman Benji Kemoeatu, according to internet reports, had verbally committed to Utah. But is he also expected to come on visit to Oregon State along with his buddy Siilata?

Scout.com spoke Monday night with Anthony Siilata, a 6-foot-2, 320-pound offensive lineman from Kahuku, Hawai'i, and Siilata let us know that three specific schools are likely the ones he'll be choosing from on Signing Day.

"I've been to UNLV (12/14) and Utah (1/17) and I enjoyed both of those trips," Siilata said. "At Utah everyone seems together, like a family. Same at UNLV too."

One trip remains.

"I plan on going to Oregon State this week (1/25)."

All three programs are checking Siilata out as an interior lineman. And no one school is standing out.

"I'm undecided," he said. "It's hard, because I like all of them."

Kahuku teammate Benji Kemoeatu visited Utah with Siilata, and is expected to join Anthony on his visit to Oregon State, but something else might put a wrench in those plans.

"We're not too sure right now, because the SAT (test) is this Saturday," he said. "So we might reschedule the trip for next week."
