THE OREGON STATE two deeps on offense as the Beavers begin the spring practice sessions in Corvallis on March 31. “I have to give a lot of credit to the players who made last year a success while facing a lot of difficult challenges,” Mike Riley said. “We put some guys in tough situations, but in the long run that will be a benefit for us in years to come.”

It's a senior laden offensive line in looking at the pre-spring No. 1s, while at the "skill positions", four of six top slots are manned by underclassmen.

Note: OSU's official spring prospectus shows Shane Morales as the No. 1 slotback but the text mentions James Rodgers as the starter in joining Darrell Catchings and Sammie Stoughter to form the starting WR corps. Figure on all four seeing significant action as the wide receiver group is the deepest position for the Beavers headed into the spring.
