Reggie Davis was officially introduced as the team's running backs coach completing the 2008 Oregon State football coaching staff. | |||||||||

Davis coached the running backs at UNLV the last three seasons after spending
the 2004 year as the tight ends and assistant special teams coach at the
University of San Diego. Davis played tight end and on special teams in two full seasons (1999 & 2000)
for Riley when he was the head coach of the San Diego Chargers. Davis began his
post-playing career as a speed and strength coach for four years, training
professional, college and high school athletes in weightlifting and running
techniques. Jay Locey will move from tight ends and running backs to wideouts with graduate assistant Tim Euhus will work with the tight ends. In other news, administration graduate assistant and former Beaver football player Ahmed Zarrugh has left Oregon State after being hired by Western Washington as a defensive graduate assistant. Former OSU linebackers coach Robin Ross is the head coach at Western Washington.
