Day 7: Secondary shines, verbal commitment

CORVALLIS-The OSU defense Monday racked up the takeaways and showed they can put points up on the board, too. Several DBs carded picks, Bryan Payton continued his stellar spring, Keenan Lewis, Brandon Hardin and David Ross all made noise, and DE Kevin Frahm found paydirt. On offense, the highlights included the tight ends and running backs. And late Monday, the Beavs picked up a verbal commitment!

The secondary got in their licks on special teams too with not one, but two game-changer type of plays. Meanwhile, lest there be any doubt, James Rodgers is all football player as one play in particular on Monday confirmed, plus much more.
