CORVALLIS--Darrell Catchings had himself a day on Wednesday -- and then some. Meanwhile, the Beaver run game heated up, despite the fact one of the stop backs was absent with injury. Lance Mitchell, Al Afalava and Tim Clark produced some head-turners during drills in the secondary, and wide receiver James Rodgers looks to be soaking up the knowledge like a sponge.

The Beavs were, mostly, in the indoor practice facility on Wednesday -- the linebackers and defensive line spent some time outside in the inclement weather. But Darrell Catchings was shining as brightly as the sun in the Truax IPF.
