FOR THE THIRD consecutive week, an Oregon State football player earned Pac-10 Player of the Week honors -- And this time, it was a double shot of black and orange as defensive tackle Stephen Paea and WR/KR James Rodgers received top conference honors. Also, don't forget to vote for "Quan" for the AT&T All-America Player of the Week.

QUIZZ SHOW: With 1,233 yards on the year RB Jacquizz Rodgers now has the eighth-highest total for the Beavers in a single season. His 2-yard touchdown in the first quarter was his 11th rushing touchdown this year which times him for 11th-most in a single season at OSU. He leads the Pac-10 and is No. 9 nationally in rushing at 123.3 yards per game and still the leading vote getter at CBS Sportsline's Freshman Watch.

EARLY LINE: Arizona opens as a three point favorite making it the first time in six games that the Beavers are not favored headed into a conference clash. UA holds a 20-10-1 lead in the series, but OSU has won the last three in Arizona Stadium.

POW TIMES TWO: Sophomore wide receiver/kick returner James Rodgers and sophomore defensive tackle Stephen Paea have been named Pac-10 Players of the Week making it the third straight week that at least one Beaver has earned such an honor.

Rodgers was named the Co-Special Teams Player of the Week, (with USC’s C.J. Gable), after the second-year sophomore accounted for 189 all-purpose yards in the Beavers’ 34-21 win over California last Saturday in front of a record crowd at Reser Stadium (45,969). It’s the first honor for "Quan" in his brief college career, while brother Jacquizz has been named Offensive Player of the Week three times, including the previous two weeks.

Paea, a 6-1, 293-pound native of Tonga, made six tackles against Cal -- including two-for-loss and a quarterback sack against the Bears’ Kevin Riley. Paea helped lead a Beaver defense that limited California to just one yard in total offense in the fourth quarter and 232 for the game. On the season, the Beaver d-tackle has 4.5 sacks and 9 TFL.

GET OUT AND VOTE!: For the second straight week an Oregon State player has been nominated for AT & T All America Player of Week. Last week it was Jacquizz Rodgers, this week it is his older brother James Rodgers. Vote by texting VOTE to 51234 on your cell phone. You have until 2:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday to submit their votes. The winner will be announced during Thursday’s ESPN College Football Primetime.

MOVIN' ON UP: The Beavers moved up two spots in the Associated Press Poll and four spots in the USA Today Coaches Poll as they checked in at No. 21 in each poll - the highest ranking for a team under Mike Riley. It’s the first time Oregon State has been ranked in back-to-back weeks since the 2003 season and is the highest ranking for the program since it was No. 19 (AP) the week of Sept. 24, 2001. The Beavers also broke into the Bowl Championship Series standings this week, also at No. 21.

BOWL GAME PROJECTIONS: Each week several sites update where they think the Beavers will end up after the final two games. Here's the latest:

INJURY UPDATE: The team came out of the Cal game relatively unscathed, similar to the entire season, as 20 of the 22 starters have been available for at least nine of the 10 games. TE Joe Halahuni is not expected to miss any practice despite sustaining a concussion. QB Lyle Moevao's right shoulder is still sore, but he played all game and is recovering from his cold. WR Shane Morales hip was also sore, but he started and will practice this week. DT Stephen Paea continues to be bothered by his knee but is not expected to miss any playing time.
