POLL TRACKER: Beavs Top 25 poll rankings

THE REGULAR SEASON ended with a resounding thud, and the focus on that probably won't recede for a time. The overall body of work on the football field in 2008 for Oregon State, however, still resonates. Indeed, the Beavs ended the regular season rated as one of the nation's Top 25 in the Associated Press and USA/Today Coaches polls.

NOTABLE NOTES:

The Beavers were picked to finish 6th in the Pac-10 media poll before the season. They will finish no worse than tied for 2nd.

The BCS uses the Harris and Coaches polls plus the 6 computer polls. The Associated Press removed it's poll from the BCS rankings at the end of the 2004 season after heightened criticisms following the '03 and '04 seasons and bowl game participants.
