Four future Beavers set for Les Schwab Bowl

Jack Lomax/Micah Hatfield

IF YOU ARE willing to brave the expected soggy weather conditions, you can catch four soon to be Oregon State football players in the Les Schwab Bowl tonight in Hillsboro, OR.

Quarterback Jack Lomax and receiver Micah Hatfield will be suiting up for the North squad while offensive linemen Michael Beaton and John Braun will be strapping the pads on for the South.

Lomax was named the 6A Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for over 3,500 yards and 46 touchdowns. Hatfield, a first team All-State wide out, was one of Lomax's favorite targets at Lake Oswego.

Braun earned first team All-State honors at West Albany where he helped the Bulldogs to back to back state championships. Beaton was an honorable mention All-State pick on both sides of the ball as a senior at Dallas High.

There will also be a slew of athletes including receiver Mitch Singler and defensive back Levi Levasa playing who are considering walking on at Oregon State in the fall.

Kickoff is at 7:30 PM, gates open at 6 PM, at Hillsboro Stadium off of highway 26. More information can be found at Recommended Stories
