SCRIMMAGE ONE: Drives 6-10

CORVALLIS – In the midsection of the first scrimmage, the offense tried to take back momentum from the Beaver D. And Ryan Katz tosses a touchdown to Jordan Bishop. But the stop corps is winning the battle.
Drive: 6 QB:

Penalties and sloppy play results in the line of scrimmage about 12 yards behind where the drive started.
The defense is starting to dominate the offense at this point.
Drive: 9 QB: Ryan Katz
The offense tries to reestablish themselves – and put together a touchdown drive.

manages to jar the ball lose. Referees rule that Wheaton was down but had the play gone upstairs, it almost certainly would have been ruled a fumble.
Jordan Bishop continued his good form with the TD reception diving in the end zone, grabbing the pass right before it hit the turf.
