Top 50 corner visits Beavs, 'loved it'

OREGON STATE HAS successfully targeted the state of Arizona as an ancillary recruiting ground the past few years -- Keaton Kristick, Geoff Garner, Mitchel Hunt, Rueben Robinson, Jovan Stevenson, Rory Ross, Markus Wheaton -- they all hail from the Grand Canyon State. This past weekend, the Beavs made strides with another 'Zona native, a Top 50 cornerback on his official visit to OSU.

"It was great, actually. I loved it out there," said Jourdan Grandon, a 6-0, 180-pound corner out of Avondale's Westview High. Grandon is rated the No. 45 corner prospect in the nation and three stars. He's athletic enough that he also plays quarterback at Westview.
