VIDEO: Riley talks USC

MIKE RILEY SAYS the Beavs have gotten better the last two games. But a big challenge awaits on Saturday night. The Beavs' head man talks USC, center Alex Linnenkohl, QB's Sean Canfield and Lyle Moevao, LB Dwight Roberson along with tape study and game prep. Ryan McCants should return but Darrell Catchings will not, plus other injury news and more.

Mike Riley said Tuesday that RB Ryan McCants (knee) is expected to make his season debut against USC. McCants has missed the first six games. WR Darrell Catchings (ankle) is not ready yet. His projected timetable is to be back for UW in Week 10.

S and special teams player Anthony Watkins (shoulder) is projected to miss two more weeks. OT Wilder McAndrews (wrist) returned to practice and almost immediately broke a finger.

"That's another guy who just can't buy a break," said Riley.

McAndrews is expected to have the injury casted.
