San Diego (Calif.) Westview offensive tackle Taylor Reich, a 6-7, 285-pounder, got his first offer on Monday.

"Taylor got his first official offer from UTEP faxed over," said his father, Jeff.

Reich is one of the top offensive linemen in San Diego in the class of 2011.

He was an honorable mention, all-league pick in 2009.
