I still stand at 10-7 on the year, but down about $1500. No worries though,
I be pulling myself above the Mendoza line shortly.
Make sure not to make any plans as the slate is full of great rivalry games
this week. I expect all of you to be sitting on your couches watching the boob
tube all Saturday or swilling down brewskis at your favorite local watering
hole. Now let's start making some cabbage!
#2 Michigan +7 @ #1 Ohio State.
Don't get sucked into the media hype. Don't bleed the hype!
The two best teams in the nation are playing and the line is a full touchdown?
Give me a break! There is too much value with Michigan and seven points. And
furthermore the lack of respect with that line has got to get the Wolverines
fired up.
We all know they pay attention to this stuff, don't believe any different.
$1100 to win $1000. I'm so confident on this one hitting I already have gone
to Costco and bought the bacon.
Washington @ Washington State -8.5 "The Apple Cup"
Turn out the lights the party is over for the Huskies.
This team has thrown in the towel after the Stanford loss and controversy is
brewing in Seattle. The Cougs crank it up in chilly Pullman to become bowl eligible.
This one is gonna get ugly, Cougs by three touchdowns. Throwing down $1100
and picking up a cool $1K.
Arizona +13 @ U of Zero.
I'll take the points and the Wildcats in this one. They're coming off two big
wins against WAZZU and CAL and have Tuitama back at quarterback. I'll lay $330
to collect $300.
This Arizona squad held Cal and USC to 20 and BYU to 16. I Love the UNDER 45
in this game also. $1100 to get paid $One Thousand. A little Oregon rain definitely
can't hurt.
San Jose State @ Hawaii OVER 74.
When you play on the Rainbow Warriors it usually means you had a bad day and
are chasing, but this game is honestly one of my favorite plays of the day.
What's more fun than watching touchdowns being scored every time Hawaii touches
the ball?
They have gone over in their last seven games and are 17-4 in their last 22
games on the OVER as a favorite. Quarterback Colt Brennan is now a Heisman candidate
and leads the nation in passing efficiency, along with yards and touchdowns.
If he averages three touchdowns a game the rest of the way he will break the
record for total touchdown passes in a season.
I'm playing $1100 and plan on winning another heavy dime.
Bleeda's Saturday itinerary:
7 a.m. - Wake up to Gameday on ESPN. I have a mancrush on Kirk Herbstreet.
You do too, admit it.
9 a.m. - Toggle between Maryland at Boston College, Michigan at Penn State,
and Oklahoma at Baylor. Mainly save energy for the big afternoon matchups
and the Beaver game, of course.
12:30 p.m. - Watch the Oregon State game, but whenever possible check in
on the Michigan vs. Ohio State game and Auburn vs Alabama.
4:30 p.m. - One year birthday party for daughter begins. Pizza, cake, and
ice cream.
5:00 p.m. - Damm! Another important football game is on. Cal @ USC. Party
continues and daughters are trained at a young age that college football is
a fall tradition in the Bleeda household. (Oldest daughter almost three years
old seems to always want to watch baseball, I try explaining that the season
is over.) Meanwhile, remembering to periodically watch the Rutgers at Cincinnati
game.
7:15 p.m. - UCLA at ASU begins. Keep the game on in the background just in
case it gets good.
Sunday morning - Cashout.
BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED IT!
