2 - The number of consecutive road games Oregon State has won; tied with USC for the most consecutive in the conference. Two is also the combined number of starts starters C Alex Linnenkohl, RT Mike Remmers and RG Gregg Peat have on the Beaver offensive line.

3 - The number of true freshman -- RB Jacquizz Rodgers, P Johnny Hekker,  LS Marcus Perry -- scheduled to play this season for Oregon State, all things being equal.  Three is also the number of running backs Oregon State has in the top 11 for career rushing in the Pac-10, USC is the only school with more (4). Further, three is the number of consecutive wins OSU has had at Stanford.

4 - The winning streak the Men in Black carry into Stanford Stadium - tied for the second longest win streak in the conference and fourth longest in the nation. Four is also the number of consecutive bowl games the Beavs have won, the third longest mark in the nation.

5 - The number of 3,000 yard quarterbacks and 1,000 yard receivers OSU has produced in the last 10 years.

6 - The place the media tabbed Oregon State to finish in the conference.

8 - The number of postseason teams from last year on the 2008 schedule. Eight is also the number of 1,000 yard rushers the Men in Black have had in the last 10 seasons. Only Minnesota (12), Texas and West Virginia (10 each) and Northern Illinois (nine) have had more.

9 - The place the media picked Stanford to finish in the conference.

13.5 - The number of career sacks defensive end Victor Butler has in an Oregon State uniform, which ranks seventh in school history.

Four triumphs would tie Riley with legendary coach Dee Andros (1965-75) at 51 wins. Forty-seven is also the number of victories OSU has racked up in the last six seasons, good for third best in the conference.

72 - The number of career starts the Stanford starting offensive line has - 33 more than the Beaver starting offensive linemen.

114 - The number of tackles Cardinal safety Bo McNally made last year - the most in the Pac-10.  He averaged 9.5 stops per game reaching double digits in seven contests.

203 - The number of turnovers forced by the Beaver defense since 2001, the sixth most in the nation.

1,293 - The number of receiving yards Sammie Stroughter had in 2006; the most in the conference. He averaged 92.6 yards per game.

3,825,179 - The number of fans that went to football games in a Pac-10 stadium in 2007 - a record for the third straight year.
