Oct. 6, 2007 - Oregon State 31, Arizona 16
Oregon State and Arizona met at Corvallis with OSU taking a 31-16 decision to
begin a stretch that saw the Beavers win seven of their last eight games.
Oregon State did
not waste any time, taking a 31-3 lead early in the second quarter and then
letting the defense keep Arizona at bay.
The Beaver defense
limited Arizona to no offensive touchdowns, just nine yards rushing and 231
yards total offense, picked off three passes and posted eight quarterback sacks.

Arizona played...
Nov. 15, 2008 in Eugene - Oregon 55, Arizona 45
The Wildcats had a second half comeback for the ages, but it just was
not enough, as Oregon won 55-45 at Autzen Stadium.
The first half
looked like a scrimmage of sorts, as the UA could do absolutely nothing to stop
Oregon. In fact, it almost seemed like Arizona had game planned for the opposite
of what the Ducks were going to do, because Oregon's players were just too open

Oregon State played...
Nov. 15, 2008 in Corvallis - Oregon State 34, Cal 21
THE BEGINNING served as microcosm for Oregon State's slugfest 34-21 win
over Cal -- the Bears came out swinging on special teams. But James
Rodgers followed with a bigger punch. Then it was Sammie Stroughter's
turn. Indeed, each time Cal gained momentum, OSU answered right back. And when
the clock struck zeros, OSU remained in control of their Rose Bowl dreams with
two games to play.
It started out
with a bang. The Beavs gave up a long kickoff return and with a facemask flag
to boot, the Bears started their opening drive on the OSU 26-yard line. Four
plays later, Cal was in the end zone and the Beavs were in a 7-0 hole just a
little over two minutes into the game ... more
