SHORT RECAP:
The game served as microcosm for the Beavs' slow seasons starts -- Hawaii marched down the field and found the end zone on their opening drive,
and the sense of 'Here we go again' was palpable in Reser Stadium. But it was
all Oregon State from then on. The Beavs ground out 200 yards rushing as Oregon
State reeled off 45 straight points. A fearsome Beaver defense allowed only
211 total yards on offense, with 73 of them on the opening drive.
KEY STAT:
211 - The number of total yards the OSU defense gave up.

KEY QUOTE:
“It definitely felt good to get our first win under our belt, especially
in front of our home crowd. This is a great confidence-booster, a great win
to get us back on track. It’s how we used to feel last year." - QB
