CONVENTIONAL WISDOM HOLDS that the defense is usually ahead of the offense in the early stages of spring ball, or of fall camp. That wasn't the case on Monday, the first day Oregon State had worn full pads this spring. The combination of Lyle Moevao to Sammie Stroughter was among the offensive highlights while Shane Morales turned in another solid outing.
