Blue collar, consistent player with good football skills...solid footwork, excellent at wrapping up the opposition.

Riley says:
"Trent is the consummate football player. He works extremely hard and has a great feel for playing middle linebacker. There is a lot going on at middle linebacker; Trent has the ability to sort it all out and react quickly and make a ton of plays. We talk about playmakers on offense, but it’s the same thing on defense and Trent certainly fits in that category."

OSU: Trent was among the premier defensive players in the nation as a senior...led the Pac-10 Conference in 2005 with a 10.5 tackles per game average and finished second in 2004 at 10.2...one of three team captains for the ’05 season...started 34 straight games for his career...finished his career sixth all-time at OSU for career tackles with 337 and tied for sixth for tackles-for-loss with 29...2005 first team All-Pac-10 Conference, second team in 2004...team leader for tackles in 17 of the last 26 games of his career and reached double figures for tackles in 12 of the final 21 games...Insight Bowl defensive MVP in 2004 after making a bowl record 10 tackles...combined for 27 tackles in the final two games of his career – vs. Stanford and at Oregon...in 2004 he made a conference-high 19 tackles at Boise State...was a 2005 preseason candidate for the Bronko Nagurski Award and the Lott Trophy...played in three bowl games, the Las Vegas Bowl and twice in the Insight Bowl...invited to play in the 2005 East-West Shrine Game.

PULLMAN: PrepStar Magazine selected him to the All-Region team...started at inside linebacker three years and tight end for two...Great Northern League Defensive Player of the Year his last two years...Tacoma News Tribune all-state team as a junior and senior...team MVP on defense three seasons...made 170 tackles as a senior and 160 as a junior...as a senior he had 28 tackles vs. Pendleton and a pair of 24-tackle games...also earned two letters in basketball and three in baseball (catcher) – an all-league performer in both sports.

PERSONAL: Born in Flagstaff, Arizona...son of Craig and Kaprice Bray...Craig was Oregon State’s defensive coordinator and secondary coach for the 2000 through 2002 seasons...Kaprice was a volleyball student-athlete at Western Michigan University and later coached at Washington State...has one brother... majored in sociology and minored in psychology.
