Biography:
Caught appx. 33 balls for 400-plus yards his senior season at tight end but in possessing a great pair of feet, likely projects at OL for the Beavers. To that end in 2005, never graded out below 80 percent blocking in Mesa's tough grading system. Named 1st Team All East Valley Region after senior season and all-region junior season.

A three sport star in football, baseball and basketball, Mesa coach Dennis Parker said Garner possesses a tremendous work ethic, but more than that, he's just plain old tough.

"I'll tell you a key piece of information; he never missed a practice in two years -- and he played the last three games with a stress fracture in his foot," said Parker. "He not only played, he practiced. Every day. Never once whined about it or moaned about it. He just went to work -- every day."
