| James was a first team all-state defensive player...accounted for 109 tackles and 900-plus receiving yards as a senior...in 2006 he had four interceptions, forced six fumbles, recovered seven fumbles and scored two touchdowns on defense...4A Greater Houston All-Area co-MVP...helped the team to a 24-2 record over the last two seasons...James’ brother, Jacquizz, is a standout running back who will be a senior this year...according to Lamar Consolidated head coach Lydell Wilson -- "He's (James) a player.
