2007: Joe enrolled at Oregon State for winter term of 2007 and
participated in spring practice...has an opportunity to play this season at a
position that features a number of young players.
ORTING: Three-year letterman in football as a wide receiver and defensive
back...Washington 2A Player of the Year in 2005 and the Nisqually League’s
Offensive MVP...38 receptions for approximately 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns as
a senior...33 receptions for 934 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior...ranked
30th on the Scout.com Northwest Hot 100...also lettered in basketball for four
years at forward.
PERSONAL: Born in Enumclaw, Washington...son of Tuulau Halahuni
(Howl-ah-who-nee) and Tonya Casey...has three siblings...enjoys basketball and
friends...he is the first Orting HS graduate to earn a Division I scholarship
since 1967...undecided major. |
