weapon and someone we have full confidence in. He has proven that he is reliable in big games, in bad
weather and in hostile stadiums. We take him for granted
sometimes.”
2007: Alexis enters the year with an
OSU record 106 consecutive made
extra point attempts…also owns the OSU record with 62 made field
goals and enters the season as the active leader in the NCAA…292
career points, second all-time at OSU — he needs 75 to overtake
Ken Simonton for the all-time lead…among the most accurate kickers
in the nation and will be a candidate for the Groza Award, which
he won in 2005…his .805 success rate on field goal attempts is fifth
among active kickers in the NCAA — he has the most attempts of
the five…successful on seven consecutive field goal attempts and
10 of the last 12…made five field goals of 50-plus yards, including
a school record matching 58-yard boot in 2006.

goals and his 80th consecutive extra point — 13-for-13 in three
games at Husky Stadium…also earned the honor Nov. 26 after

field goal with 1:12 remaining against Oregon…four field goals of
50-plus yards, including a school record matching 58-yard kick
against California (Lou Groza Star of the Week)…36 touchbacks
on 82 kickoffs…111 points, the fourth-highest ever by a Beaver
and most by a kicker. |
