Does not have incredible arm strength, but does not make mistakes.
College:
Saw some playing time against Washington in 2002 due to Anderson's hand injury...Had a solid 2002 spring behind Anderson and is an adequate backup...redshirted in 2000 as a quarterback.
High School:
Was a three-year starter at Washington Union High School...passed for over 2,500 yards, completed over 60% of his passes, and threw 31 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions during his senior year when he led the Panthers to the Divsion III championship...was named first team all league and the North Sequoia League's Offensive Player of the Year after his senior season...lettered in baseball during high school...also recruited by Oregon, Arizona, Stanford, Washington and California. |
