In his senior season, he completed 257-of-379 passes for 3,848 yards with 32 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Led St. Mary's to a CIF-SJS section win. Team was then selcetdd to play in the CIF D-II state championship game where he set a state bowl game record with 336 yards. Vaz was 31-of-46 passing with four touchdown passes and no picks in the 37-34 loss.
As a junior in Stockton, Calif., he led St. Mary's to the CIF-SJS finals. Was 215-for-332 for 3,265 yards and 33 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. Was named the TCAL Offensive MVP, First Team all-Area, Second Team All-Northern California and all-state underclass. |
