Biography:
2008: A veteran cornerback with 31 starts...originally a receiver prospect when he joined the team in 2004; he has since become one of the best “lock down” corners in the conference...a certain postseason honors candidate...one of 42 candidates for the Lott Trophy, awarded annually to a player who exhibits integrity, maturity, performance, academics, community and tenacity...also one of 40 candidates for the Jim Thorpe Award, presented to the nation's outstanding cornerback.

2007: Pac-10 Second Team honors after making 12 pass breakups, tied for fifth in the league...his 57 tackles marked the fifth-highest total on the team, including seven tackles for loss...started 12 of the 13 games...in on three of the biggest tackles for not only 2007, but in Beaver history in upset win at No. 2 Cal – assisted (Greg Laybourn) on the Bears’ 4th-and-goal from 1-yard line late in the third quarter stopping running back Justin Forsett...also in on assists on the same drive on Forsett rushes on 1st-and-goal from the two and 2nd-and-goal from the one
