2008:Started out working with the receivers before being moved to cornerback after the conclusion of the regular season.
ARCADIA: Two-year letterman and team captain at Arcadia where he attended as a junior and senior...first team All-Pacific Coast League as a junior and senior, and Pasadena Star News First Team as a senior...38 receptions for 571 yards in 2007...first team all-league cornerback as a junior and as a safety as a senior...also honored as an all-area all-purpose player...lettered twice in track, running the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay...attended Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Va., his first two years of high school, earning first team all-district as a sophomore.
PERSONAL: Born in Altadena, California...son of DeWayne and Zan Walker...has two sisters...DeWayne is the defensive coordinator at UCLA and former defensive back at the University of Minnesota – also has coached in the NFL with the Giants and Redskins...several former prep teammates are playing at Division I programs...chose OSU because “the family atmosphere is amazing and it’s the place where I felt the most comfortable”...contemplating majoring in business.
