Biography:
Averaged 22.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a sophomore at Lee Junior College in Baytown, Texas. An NJCAA All-Region XIV first team selection. Led Lee to a 24-10 record and semifinals of the Region XIV tournament. Led conference in three-point field goals made with 123. Made 42 percent of his three-points attempts (123-293) and 87.2 percent of his free throw attempts (95-109). Ranked third in the conference in scoring, second in three-point field goal percentage and first in free throw percentage. Averaged 15.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a freshman to help Lee to an 18-13 record and a No. 10 final ranking in Texas. Initially recruited by the Ducks as freshman coming out of Furr High School in Houston, Texas. Was district MVP and an all-state, all-region and all-Houston selection at Furr for coach Deryl Glenn. Won three letters in basketball and one in track as a long jumper. Rated the 107th-best high school player in the nation by USA Today. Signed with Stephen F. Austin out of Furr and redshirted his first year, but left after a coaching change.
