2009: Moevao (MOY-vow) has quietly become one of the most
successful quarterbacks in Beaver history ... 11-4 as a starter ... sixth
all-time at OSU for passing yards (3,410) and passing touchdowns (21) ... one of
the most physical quarterbacks in the country ... shoulder surgery in late
February caused him to miss spring practice ... co-team captain.
2008: Lyle's 19 touchdown passes ranked as the fifth-most
ever in school history, trailing only Jonathan Smith and Derek Anderson for a
season ... Pac-10 Honorable Mention ... third in the Pac-10 for passing yards
per game at 230.4 ... strained his right throwing shoulder against Arizona
State, forcing him to miss two starts (UCLA & Arizona) ... career-high 404 yards
passing in season opener at Stanford ... tied a school record with five
