With thirty-nine players on the roster that played high school football in California it is safe to say there will be plenty of family members sporting orange and black in the stands.

Having those friendly faces in the stands is nice, but it can also be distracting.  Oregon State must first take care of business on the field before enjoying their time off of the field.

"That's always fun, going back home, seeing the family, it's always fun.," said safety Lance Mitchell who played at Muir High in Pasadena, CA.  "But you kind of have to hold that back until after the game, you have to take it as a business trip and try to go down there to get the win."
