Quizz has never fumbled

In the last four wins at Cal an Oregon State running back has topped the
100-yard mark and scored at least two touchdowns. Beaver running back
Jacquizz Rodgers has put together three consecutive 100-yard games while
topping the century mark in five of the eight games this season.
"If we win, many times our running back does pretty well," coach Mike
Riley said. "That's part of our identity."
A huge part of that identity is Quizz who is second in the conference in all-purpose yards (161.6 ypg), receptions (6.1 rpg) and rushing (115.2 ypg). Rodgers
is also the Pac-10's co-leader in scoring with 15 touchdowns.
Those are some pretty impressive statistics, but what is even more impressive
is that he has never fumbled in 510 touches in college.
"My coach (running backs Coach Reggie Davis) always preaches high and tight,
just make sure you secure the ball, that's the main thing," Quizz said. "I
make sure I keep it secure when I'm making cuts, or running through holes.
"I don't like talking about fumbles!"
On the year the Beavers have put the ball on the turf six times, but have
lost only one.
